This pattern combines the best of both worlds as it combines beauty with affordability. Wallace American Tradition is another gorgeous beaded pattern that differs from many other beaded patterns in that the end of each handle is shaped like a tear drop. Wallace American Tradition is crafted from premium silverplate, yet comes at an incredibly affordable price. Pattern: AMERICAN TRADITION by WALLACE SILVER, Material: “EPS” SILVERPLATE Pattern #: W198 Manufacturer Status: Discontinued Actual: 2003 – 2007 Description: GLOSSY 6 1/4″During the production of the American Tradition pattern (2003 – 2007), Wallace received intense demand for a similar set of flatware in their famous “EPS” silver plate line. As such, Wallace produced a limited run of American Tradition EPS plated silverware. The run only lasted a couple years and was discontuinued, making this pattern in EPS very rare. Ever since the invention of coins and metal smithing, silver electroplating has been a popular metal finishing technique.
